The purpose of UNS is to expand the amount of interest and knowledge about the neurological sciences. In an informal group setting, students will be able to listen to speakers and actively participate in learning about neuroscience. Group events and activities include having doctors, professors, and professionals speak to the group. Social events will also take place throughout the year, including cookouts, article readings, and student lab presentations. All students will be required to pay a fee to become a member of the organization and will have to attend at least four of the scheduled bimonthly meetings. Each member must have an interest in neuroscience with a desire to broaden upon it.
